I'd just gotten out of the Army and was driving down from Anchorage, Alaska to Orlando. Made a pitstop in St. Louis. Saw a tour bus with "Lost" as its destination sign above the windshield. Me and my co-pilot reckoned that anyone who'd do that has got to be worth seeing. Turned out to be Weird Al. Great show. It must’ve been the 1st week of September, 1985. It was just like a stage show to them, and they knew what they were doing. I'd like to see a modern pop group try that!
