I did double check that on the AR website, when you put in 2000 Toyota Corolla, the 15-inch Series 95 rims pop us as compatible. There is a caution that tire size is critical, though. Most likely the offset wasn't correct. I doubt that they'll do any damage, but you'll want to take them back and probably swap them for some that don't rub.
