Maybe it’s my recent hissy fits about the quality of popular music, maybe it’s nostalgia, or maybe it’s the treasure trove of links to 80’s music videos I just found, but I’m thinking of making 80’s videos a recurring feature here. Sort of like Bizarre Album Saturday in Pezland.
I still enjoy these videos, even the ones that are so cheesy you feel like reaching for a fondue fork. So, take a stroll down memory lane with me. Remember folks, these are now officially ‘oldies’.
Murray Head - One Night in Bangkok
Night Ranger - Sister Christian
Toni Basil - Mickey
and last but not least, one of my favorite 80’s bands:
Big Country - In A Big Country
Certainly not their best song, but definitely their best-known, at least in the US.
Goodness. How…old they seem. Quaint. We’re spoiled these days.
However, I have to go see if Mr. Roboto is anywhere.
Oh, my. This could become a sickness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pq3VSgfoCYQ&search=mr.%20roboto
